1897: KLIMT launches the ART NOUVEAU movement, which aims to reform artistic life and obscurantism in Vienna. Working closely with his patrons and playing with conventions, he invents a form of art that questions and stimulates consciousness. He believes that art should be acknowledged as a means of expression to transform the world. This rug is a tribute to the freedom and the dream-like vison Klimt captured in his women portraits. Since the dawn of time, art has been used to celebrate dreams and ideals, which is typical of Klimt but also of ancestral cultures like the Aboriginals.
With Klimt in mind, this rug will bring a contemporary touch to a classic interior.
